My 2-year-old and 4-year-old are really into crafts right now. They ask to draw, paint, make masks, create collages, or do something else creative every single day. I’ve found a number of cool Christmas crafts for them that yield secular symbols of Christmas (trees, wreaths, bells, etc.). I don’t have a problem with these, but I want to make sure a number of the crafts we complete this season reinforce the true significance of Christmas.
Thankfully, many moms, teachers, and other caregivers have shared nativity-themed crafts on their blogs and other websites. I’ve identified several of these that I hope to try with my kids this year and in the coming years. I’ve also identified a Scripture verse or passage that corresponds with each craft. I’ve shared all of these below so you can use them with your kids!
