14 Family-Friendly Gratitude Activities

October 26, 2021 By Shannon This post may contain affiliate links and this site uses cookies. Click here for details.

I wrote a post several years ago about gratitude activities for the whole family. At the time, I didn’t have kids who were old enough to participate in most of the activities. However, my two eldest are now capable of engaging in these activities and my youngest can get the gist of some of them.

I’ve taken the gratitude activities described in that post and placed them in a printable. This will allow me to keep a printed copy of the activities on hand so I can refer to it throughout November. Additionally, I’ll be able to share copies of it with others.

(Click on the image to view and download a printable version of the list.)

These simple gratitude activities, presented in a convenient printable, can help families have fun while giving thanks.

If you would like for your family to engage in an activity that will help you give thanks, then consider trying one of these. They are great for kids and adults alike! During the coming month, I plan for us to create a gratitude inventory, read books on gratitude, and make a gratitude collage.

How does your family focus on gratitude? What special activities help you give thanks?

Thank you so much for this!
We definitely need it! I wish we didn’t need the reminder to be grateful, but we do. We are so selfish that we need time to take our eyes off of ourselves.

I’m printing this out and pinning it for later.

    Blessings,

I definitely need the reminder, Laurie! I want to instill gratitude as a habit in my kids and I love that these are things they can do to focus on gratitude.

Cool! It’s one thing to be grateful on our own, but it’s a whole other world to invite others to the party!

Yes, Linda, and to have that focus on gratitude as a family really makes a wonderful environment in the home.

These are great ideas! My favorite is writing letters to community workers. As for how I practice gratitude, I always thank God for all of the things He did for me that day in my prayers before going to sleep at night.

That’s a great addition to the list, Robyn!
