Prayer is an important part of Lent. This kid-friendly paper chain Lenten prayer calendar will help your whole family engage in prayer this Lent.

It seems like we were celebrating the start of 2020 just yesterday. In reality, it’s been nearly two months! We’re already to Ash Wednesday and Lent. February 20, 2020 By Shannon This post may contain affiliate links and this site uses cookies. Click here for details.

As we watched video of fans placing flowers, stuffed animals, balloons, etc. at makeshift memorials for the famous basketball player, my husband asked me a really interesting question. He asked why people were so affected by his … [Read more...] about Why Do the Deaths of Public Figures Touch Us Deeply?

This hearty, flavorful Cheesy Ham Chowder is brimming with ham, cheese, potatoes, corn, and carrots. It is comfort in a bowl!

Soups tend to be easy to prepare, so I enjoy making them for dinner. My husband enjoys the flavors of most of the soups I make, but they’re often not his favorite meals. This is because he feels that many of them aren’t filling. This soup that I had on my January menu is a definite exception. It’s very hearty! Thankfully, it also has a … [Read more...] about Cheesy Ham Chowder
