August 2021 Dinner Menu

July 27, 2021 By Shannon This post may contain affiliate links and this site uses cookies. Click here for details.

Summer is still very much underway, but I’d be lying if I denied that I’m looking ahead to the fall! Though this won’t happen for a bit, I’m ready to wear a sweater, eat soup for dinner, and put my fall wreath on the door.

What’s for dinner in my house during August 2021? Menu items include Burrito Bowls, Tuscan Tortellini Skillet, and Hawaiian Sloppy Joes.

I’ll be patient, though, because I know fall will arrive in due time. In the meanwhile, here are the tasty dinners we plan to eat this August. If you’d like to see past menus, you can view them here.

Oh yummy! I’m still holding out hope that we’ll get more summer as it’s been pretty cool and rainy here.

What kind of air fryer do you have? And what do you like best cooked in it?

We have a COSORI 5.8 qt Air Fryer. I purchased it “Used – Like New” from Amazon Warehouse in order to save a little money. It came with a small dent in the front, but it has always functioned just fine!
We like to use it for cooking chicken fingers (homemade and frozen ones purchased from the store), sweet potato fries, mini pizzas (we use things like biscuit dough or naan bread for the crust and top it with cheese, pepperoni, etc.), zucchini fries, hamburger patties, chicken drumsticks, chicken wings, and asparagus. We recently made steak bites in it, and these turned out really well. There are probably tons of other things that can be prepared in it–I just haven’t tried yet!
      Hope that helps!
