I considered not posting a menu this month because I’m certain several of our dinners will deviate from it. I really benefit from the structure of a menu, though, so I’ll at least have this as a guide. Why is it that we might have a month so crazy that it affects our meal plan?
As many of you likely experience, August tends to be a busy month because we are getting ready to start a new school year. However, this year things are going to be particularly hectic for us because we are possibly embarking on some changes involving my husband’s work and where we live. Things are still up in the air at this point, but there is a chance I will spend a good portion of this month packing up our house. I’ll share details once things are certain.
I don’t want to spend a lot of time preparing meals if I end up packing and resuming school at the same time, so I have a lot of easy-to-prepare meals on our menu. I’ve even included some of these dinners twice. We’ll see how it goes!
