Our July was mostly routine. It passed pretty quickly. We’ve had temperatures in the triple digits, so popsicles and ice cream (including my homemade mint chocolate chip) have been my kids’ preferred snacks.

As is likely true for many of you, August will be busy for us. We’ll be wrapping up our back-to-school shopping and starting school. We also have some family coming for a visit mid-month. Here are the meals we plan to eat through all of it (you can see past menus here).
Days 1-7
- Southwest cheesy chicken sandwiches, fresh veggies with ranch dip
- Beefy tortellini skillet, green beans
- Soft tacos
- Chicken lettuce wraps
- Baked chicken “fried” steaks, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli
- Air fryer steak bites, seasoned rice, garden salad
- Leftovers
Days 8-14
- Cheeseburger quesadillas, fresh veggies with ranch dip
- Creamy Caesar chicken pasta, green beans
- Nachos
- Taco salad
- Mediterranean tilapia, rice pilaf, roasted summer vegetables
- Slow cooker chicken tortellini, garden salad
- Leftovers
Days 15-21
- Easy French dip sandwiches, garden salad
- One-pot chicken and sausage bog, sugar snap peas
- Soft tacos
- Chef salad
- Chicken wings, fresh veggies with ranch dip
- Bourbon chicken, basmati rice, green beans
- Leftovers
Days 22-31
- Chicken club wraps, fresh veggies with ranch dip
- Creamy garlic meatballs over egg noodles, green beans
- BBQ chicken salad
- Beer-battered cod, rice pilaf, air fryer asparagus
- Air fryer BBQ chicken skewers, garden salad
- Leftovers
- Tuscan tortellini skillet
