December 2019 Dinner Menu

November 25, 2019 By Shannon This post may contain affiliate links and this site uses cookies. Click here for details.

I know we are still in the month of November, but things get so busy after Thanksgiving that I’m trying to get my dinner menu for December ready to go.

What’s for dinner in my house during December 2019? Menu items include Meatloaf Parmesan, Chicken Pot Pie, and Tuscan Tortellini Skillet.

I plan a month’s worth of meals at the start of each month (you can see past menus here). It takes a bit of time and effort to do this, but it works for my family because it saves us time (I don’t have to set aside time planning meals each week) and money (I’m able to purchase bulk quantities of foods I know I will use multiple times).

I only plan dinners on our menus. For lunch, we typically eat leftovers or simple things like almond butter sandwiches, avocado egg salad, or cheese broccoli soup. For breakfast, we typically eat oatmeal, cold cereal, cheesy baked egg in toast, or waffles.

Here are the yummy dinners we will eat during December 2019.

I love thinking ahead for holiday meals–and your practice of menu planning, I’m sure, has saved many the last minute trip to the grocery store for forgotten ingredients!

It certainly has, Michele. I’d be a mess without it!
