We’ve made it to December! This year has been full of surprises and I know many of us are hopeful that 2021 will look different from what we’ve been through over these last 12 months. We’ll soon find out, but first we must tackle December.
At the start of each month, I take a little time to sit down and plan out our dinners for the coming month (you can see many past menus here). Though this takes a little time and effort, I feel it is worth it because it saves me time (I don’t have to meal plan each week) and money (I can make bulk purchases of the items we’ll use several times).
I don’t include breakfast or lunch on our menus because we keep things simple for these meals. We typically eat leftovers or simple dishes like peanut butter sandwiches, cheese broccoli soup, or homemade macaroni and cheese for lunch. For breakfast, we typically eat oatmeal or cereal, yogurt with fruit, or homemade muffins.
