Our November ended in a flurry of activity. Initially, we were only going to have one family member join us for Thanksgiving, but this changed as the month progressed. We ended up having five family members stay with us for a few days to celebrate the holiday. It was wonderful to visit with these loved ones! We ate many traditional favorites and tried some new recipes that may become tomorrow’s traditional favorites.
We finally have chilly weather outside, and we are loving it! We’ve spent a lot of time playing out in the yard over the last month. In just a couple of weeks, we will have family in town to celebrate Christmas. We always make impromptu changes to our menu when we have visitors and are busy with baking, crafts, and other festivities, so the following meal plan for December is tentative (you can see past menus here).
