I can’t believe we are at the beginning of December! This past month was busy and absolutely flew by. Thankfully, the government shutdown ended, so my husband (who is a federal employee) is once again getting paid. We’re so grateful for this! My kids enjoyed their Friendsgiving celebration at homeschool group and we are delighted to have cold temperatures outside.

We’ve had lots of fun making crafts, eating, and completing Mad Libs (my eldest is currently obsessed with these) with family members who have been here for a visit over Thanksgiving. Now we’re switching gears and looking towards Christmas. We’ll have another family member visiting for this holiday. We’re going to buckle down and get a couple weeks of school in as we eagerly await her arrival and our annual Christmas cookie baking marathon. Here are the meals we plan to eat during this festive season (you can see past menus here).
