I know some folks grow tired of the cold and dark of winter, but I live in such a warm location that I find winter to be an absolute delight! This year we were lucky enough to get snow, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed. Thankfully, winter isn’t over yet, so there’s always a chance it could happen again!

I try to take advantage of every single day of winter because it passes so quickly for us. This means making sure we enjoy the festivities and flavors that make it a wonderful season. Here are some of my favorite posts that feature the wonderful things winter has to offer.

Final thoughts
My kids and I have spent so much time out in the crisp air, and we’ve baked lots of cookies. We recently grabbed The Complete Autumn and Winter Cookbook from the library; we’re going to try a couple of recipes from it over the next few weeks.
