I paused a bit before typing “2025.” It’s the time of year again when we get to stumble over the date because it is a new year! I always wish the incessant demands of everyday life would pause for a day or two so I could get caught up, but that doesn’t happen. Thus, I’m speeding into 2025 with a full to-do list.
Thankfully, our Christmas was nice. We had family in town, so we got to enjoy visiting with them. We also baked (and ate) an absurd number of cookies. We will welcome 2025 in a lowkey manner, and hopefully have a routine month. Here are the meals we plan to eat (you can see past menus here).
Days 1-7
- Chicken and sausage bog, green beans
- Cheesy ham chowder
- Creamy Caesar chicken pasta, steamed broccoli
- Spaghetti and meatballs, garden salad
- Ranch chicken, roasted vegetables
- Creamy turkey mushroom spaghetti, glazed carrots
Days 8-14
- Creamy ground turkey and noodle bake, Caesar salad
- One-pot savory chicken and rice, roasted carrots
- Chicken wings, fresh veggies with ranch dip
- Veggie lasagna
- Chicken enchilada soup
- Cider-glazed turkey breast cutlets, mashed potatoes, green beans
Days 15-21
- Sausage and potato country casserole, roasted carrots
- Beefy tortellini skillet, garden salad
- Lemon pepper chicken, buttered noodles, steamed broccoli
- Chicken broccoli Alfredo casserole
- Superior chicken noodle soup
- Easy cheesy beef stroganoff, green beans
Days 22-31
- Chicken noodle casserole, roasted carrots
- Creamy lemon pepper chicken pasta, green beans
- Chicken wings, fresh veggies with ranch dip
- Stovetop lasagna, Caesar salad
- Smoked sausage, seasoned rice, air fryer parsnips
- Grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup
- Breakfast for dinner
- Chicken stew, biscuits
