We’ve been looking forward to this month for quite a while! We have numerous family members coming into town to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. We are eager to spend time with them and to enjoy many delicious foods!
I’m sure our menu will experience some changes as we get closer to Thanksgiving. It’s inevitable that things will change as family members begin arriving and we have various dinner requests being made and additional cooks in the kitchen. We’ll be flexible and enjoy the fun! As things stand now, here is our plan for the month (you can see past menus here).
Days 1-7
- Cheeseburger quesadillas, roasted parsnips
- Creamy garlic mushroom chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans
- Baked potato soup, side salad
- Super easy beef and rice casserole, fresh veggies with ranch dip
- Red beans and rice
- Spaghetti with meat sauce, steamed broccoli
- Creamy mushroom pasta, green beans
Days 8-14
- Bourbon chicken over rice, sugar snap peas
- Shepherd’s pie
- Chicken parmesan, green beans
- Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, fresh veggies with ranch dip
- Turkey and wild rice soup
- Homemade macaroni and cheese, fresh veggies with ranch dip
- Creamy Cajun chicken pasta, side salad
Days 15-21
- Mexican rice bake, tortilla chips
- Grilled cheese, tomato soup
- Cheesy sausage and pepper pasta, green beans
- Beef tips over noodles, side salad
- Chicken noodle casserole, fresh veggies over ranch dip
Days 22-30
- Cider-glazed chicken, rice, steamed broccoli
- Pizza (delivered from restaurant), side salad
- Thanksgiving dinner
- Cheesy ham chowder
- Baked ziti, green beans
- Chicken and wild rice casserole, honey-glazed carrots
- Butternut squash Alfredo, side salad
- Lemon pepper chicken, buttered noodles, sugar snap peas
- Breakfast for dinner
