It seems like October passed quickly. We had a nice visit to the zoo, but otherwise it was routine. It was quite a hot month for us, so I am thankful that cooler temperatures are finally in the forecast.
Now that November is here, we’ll spend lots of time playing outside in the cool weather, engaging in gratitude activities, and hopefully completing some fun Thanksgiving-themed crafts. We are also looking forward to Thanksgiving, especially for the time we will get to spend with family. Here are the dinners we plan to eat this month (you can see past menus here).
Days 1-7
- Easy tortellini tomato soup, garlic bread
- Creamed turkey over mashed potatoes, garden salad
- Chicken broccoli Alfredo spaghetti squash casserole
- Peach balsamic chicken, basmati rice, roasted carrots
- Sausage and rice skillet
- Chicken fajitas (with bell peppers and onions)
- Cider-glazed chicken, rice pilaf, steamed broccoli
Days 8-14
- Lemon pepper chicken, buttered noodles, green beans
- King ranch chicken casserole, corn
- Ham, macaroni and cheese, glazed carrots
- Easy cheesy beef stroganoff, sugar snap peas
- Mexican rice bake, tortilla chips
- Creamy garlic meatballs over egg noodles, Caesar salad
Days 15-21
- Slow cooker cranberry BBQ pulled pork, fresh veggies with ranch dip
- Sausage and potato country casserole, green beans
- Slow cooker bourbon chicken, basmati rice, roasted broccoli
- Chicken Normandy skillet, roasted acorn squash
Days 22-30
- Chicken wings, fresh veggies with ranch dip
- Chicken noodle casserole, roasted carrots and parsnips
- Creamy Caesar chicken pasta, green beans
- Grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup
- Thanksgiving dinner
- Thanksgiving leftovers
- Turkey and wild rice soup
