I frequently receive comments on my recipe posts asking if I have calculated the nutrition facts for my recipes. I’m not in the habit of calculating these for recipes I use for my own family, so I haven’t taken the time to do that here. Additionally, my readers sometimes ask if I have the recipes in a format that can be easily printed. There are various plugins (bits of software that can add specific features to an existing blog) that could help me with this, but I hesitate to use any of these because I don’t want them to slow down the site, nor do I want to worry about compatibility issues and staying on top of updates. However, I’ve heard your requests so I’m adding nutrition facts and printable versions to my most popular recipe posts!
I’ve calculated the nutrition facts using the recipe nutrition calculator at Verywell Fit. They provide a traditional nutrition label that displays the details. I’ve placed the recipes into PDF documents and added these to the posts for easy printing. You can find these on three posts thus far.
I’ll get them added to additional recipe posts in the coming weeks and months.
I hope this is helpful to you! Enjoy!
