Kids’ puzzles are difficult to store. They’re hard to access when stacked and pieces can end up all over. Here are some ideas for effective storage.

Keep Short Lists

January 3, 2019 By Shannon This post may contain affiliate links and this site uses cookies. Click here for details.

Life is fragile and brief. Let’s pare down our lists so we’re able to focus on the things that are truly important.

I don’t typically think about my mortality on a daily basis. However, throughout this past year, my husband and I have been reminded of the fragility and brevity of life on numerous occasions. It often takes more time to prepare real food than processed varieties. However, it doesn’t have to take all day! Here are some time-saving tips.

I do my best to feed nutritious meals to my family. It’s been really tough during this season, though. I’m in the third trimester of pregnancy and I’m caring for my 3-year-old and 2-year-old. I’m tired. By the time evening arrives, I’m tempted to feed them any old convenience food in order to avoid being on my feet and working over a hot … [Read more...] about How to Cook Real Food Without Spending All Day in the Kitchen

I’ve seen dozens of checklists for what to take with you to the hospital when you head in to have a baby. I feel like if you’ve seen one of these, you’ve seen them all. I’ll soon be giving birth to my third baby, so I don’t really need someone else’s checklist when packing my bag. I know what I’ll need! Interestingly, there are a few … [Read more...] about 7 Surprising Items to Include in Your Hospital Bag When Having a Baby

Do chores benefit kids or should kids be exempt from chores because they are so young? As you decide, consider these ways that chores impact kids.

It doesn’t take long after becoming a parent to realize that there are a lot of parenting controversies out there. For example, parents of infants will butt heads over topics like breastfeeding vs. bottle feeding and sleep training vs. not sleep training. Now that my oldest has left the baby and toddler years, I’m encountering new … [Read more...] about Chores or No Chores? Which is Best for Kids?
