Use Bakeware Organizers to Store Kids’ Puzzles

April 11, 2019 By Shannon This post may contain affiliate links and this site uses cookies. Click here for details.

A couple of months ago I shared some ideas I’d come across online for organizing kids’ puzzles. I was trying to find a storage solution for the puzzles we keep on a couple of shelves in our living room. There are several great ideas in that post, but we’ve ended up using kitchenware organizers to store our puzzles.

Bakeware organizers and pot racks can store chunky puzzles and peg puzzles! Here’s how to use these simple tools to organize your kids’ puzzles.

We ordered 2 sets of these organizers from Amazon. These have been a great solution for us because they are relatively inexpensive, fit on the shelves, and they are strong enough to hold the puzzles.
We are able to store some of the puzzles vertically because the spaces in the organizer allow peg puzzles to lean back just enough that the pieces stay in place.

Though one of these organizers would not be strong enough to hold larger puzzles, two of them (placed with their open ends facing each other) work quite well.

Hopefully some of you can benefit from this idea!

What works in your home? How do you store chunky puzzles and peg puzzles?

Isn’t it great? I wish I had more for my dishes, too.

This is such a smart idea, right now I have a pile of puzzles in the cupboard that like to landslide out on my daughter! I’ve always been envious of the ones the teachers have in school, but not wanted to buy the whole sets they sell since I already have so many puzzles. Thanks for the genius idea! Blessings, Loni

It’s so hard to keep them organized! Yes, the ones in schools are great, but they are often so expensive. These get the job done!
