Winter Worksheets for Preschoolers

January 17, 2018 By Shannon This post may contain affiliate links and this site uses cookies. Click here for details.

As I did last fall, I’ve created some worksheets to supplement the other materials my preschooler uses as we do preschool at home. This set contains winter-themed images (snowflakes, sweaters, snowmen, hot chocolate, mittens, etc.).

(Click on the image below to view and download printable versions of the worksheets.)

Engage your preschooler’s curiosity with winter-themed worksheets and activities! Get started on the fun and learning by printing a free copy today.

Even if you’re averse to using worksheets with your preschooler, there may be a couple of items in this set that interest you. These include the matching activity and the winter scavenger hunt. Here are the worksheets and activities included in the materials:

  • Prewriting practice worksheets (4)
  • Scissor skills practice worksheet
  • Images to use for pattern practice
  • Letter order practice worksheets (2)
  • Numbers 1-20 matching cards
  • Winter scavenger hunt printable

In general, these materials are suitable for children aged 3-4 years. When you print these, make sure “Fit” (not “Actual Size”) is selected for the “Page Sizing” setting of your print settings. This will help you avoid issues with the margins. The documents are in color, but they print well enough in greyscale, so feel free to select this option if you want to avoid using color ink. Consider using self-adhesive laminating sheets if you want to make any of the pages durable so they can be used multiple times.

I hope you and your preschooler enjoy these as much as we have!

What sort of educational activities are you doing with your little ones this winter? I’d love to hear your favorites!
