All moms need encouragement. It doesn’t matter if her kids are young or grown and it doesn’t matter if she has one kid or a dozen. Each and every mom you know could use a few words of encouragement!
One powerful way to provide encouragement is to share words from Scripture. The Bible has many encouraging things to say to moms. I’ve listed 16 of these things below and I’ve placed them in a convenient printable. You can print the verses on regular paper and cut them out using scissors or you can print them onto sheets of index cards (Avery 5388) and tear these cards at the perforations so each encouragement is on a 3 x 5 inch card. These cards are in a Microsoft Word template, so you can edit them! Feel free to add additional verses or personal messages.

There are a number of ways that you can use these cards. Here are a few ideas:
- Tuck a couple in each Mother’s Day card you send.
- Include one in each gift basket or bouquet of flowers you give.
- Use them as place cards around the brunch, lunch, or dinner table and have each individual read his or her verse aloud to the moms at the table.
What verses would you add? How do you encourage the moms in your life?

What a valuable printable. Mothering can be challenging. We really need to hold on to God’s Word.

Shannon, I appreciate your post so much – and the Scripture verses. We need to really be encouraging each other as moms instead of tearing down, judging, and shaming. I have chosen your post as this week’s feature on Grace & Truth – a little late this week…but that’s how life goes sometimes;) You can head over to my site to get your “I Was Featured” button. Thanks for sharing with us.
