Connect With Your Spouse Using Marriage Check-In Questions

Can you believe that I started this blog nearly seven years ago? Though I’ve written over 700 posts since that time, in many ways it feels like just yesterday. When I look through some of my older posts, the time that has passed becomes more obvious. This is because some of the posts contain links that no longer work, poor quality images, or outdated facts and figures.

Many of these posts still contain really good information. They just need a few updates! I’m going to tackle a few of these posts over the coming months. I’m beginning with one of my most popular posts on the topic of marriage.

Shortly after my husband and I had our first child, I shared some marriage check-in questions that we were using to help us stay connected as we adjusted to parenthood. Several years have passed, but we’re still adjusting! Though our family has grown (we now have three kids), we’ve aged a few years, we’ve moved to a different state, etc., these questions remain as relevant as ever. In fact, we had stopped using them for a time, but recently began using them again because we felt like we were having a difficult time connecting because of everything happening in our lives right now.

When I saw the original image I’d made of the questions, I decided to update it. Here’s the new one:

These marriage check-in questions, contained in a convenient printable, can help you and your spouse stay connected during busy seasons.

I didn’t include a printable copy of the questions in the original post, but I’ve included one here. Simply click on the image to view and download a printable version of the questions.

As I noted in the original post, there are a number of additional questions we could ask. However, we’ve stuck to these because we prefer quality over quantity.

I hope you enjoy this updated image and benefit from the printable version of it! How do you and your spouse stay connected during busy seasons?
