We successfully wrapped up our school year at the end of May! Though we will do a few things over the summer, we won’t resume our normal school schedule for a couple of months. The end of this school year marks the completion of elementary school for my eldest child—she’ll begin middle school in the fall! Not much will change for us given we homeschool, but it does amaze me how the time has passed so quickly.

The temperatures have been steadily rising around here, reminding us that spring is departing and summer is arriving. We don’t have a whole lot planned for summer thus far. My kids will have a few summer activities with their homeschool group, but otherwise we are trying to keep our schedule flexible because we have the possibility of a move on the horizon. I’ll not get into specifics now because a lot is still uncertain. However, I will spend all the time I can decluttering closets and organizing our stuff so when the time comes, we will have an easier time packing. Meanwhile, here are the dinners we plan to eat this month (you can view past menus here).
